It is a common phenomenon nowadays that can paralyze a person. We get stuck and become fearful of progressing due to past events. This can make it difficult to take positive steps forward. It can feel like a wall of darkness is before us, leaving us unmotivated and numb. We lose our inner compass, and we may be misunderstood and judged by others as lazy or apathetic, which only adds to our struggles.
